Recreational Therapy Director directs the programs and staff of the recreational therapy department including policies and procedures.     We are currently recruiting for Director of Marketingthe lead position for marketing and communications reporting to the VP of Sales. At present, this position has one direct report.

    Primary responsibilities:

    • Become highly knowledgeable in KZ products and the RV market; understand and anticipate customer needs, and adjust to unanticipated outcomes and changes
    • Be the KZ brand gatekeeper; ensure proper branding is preserved and applied within the organization and in the public eye
    • Develop PR plan and coordinate with media outlets
    • Prepare estimates and budgets; propose and execute advertising policies and strategies
    • Plan and direct marketing and communications activities
    • Plan and direct/develop print and digital marketing campaigns and communications
    • Oversee the creation of promotional activities and advertising materials; monitor and analyze results
    • Work with cross-functional teams to assist with internal and external marketing and communication strategies
    • Design, copywriting, photography, videography, and website maintenance
    • Manage social media and in-bound marketing
    • Attend community events and be a liaison for KZ and the local community; coordinate community need requests
    • Develop and foster positive and strong KZ partner relationships
    • Perform a variety of other duties, and duties assigned as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 4 years of service selling/promotion/marketing experience in the manufacturing segment, preferably in RV manufacturing.
    • Working knowledge of PC, Mac, and various marketing and design software.
    • Establishes good relationships with customers and staff. Builds wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization. Relates well to people at all levels. Manages conflict.

    • The position may include up to 10% domestic travel, including overnights and occasional weekends.

    Work environment/requirements:

    Office located at 985 N 900 W, Shipshewana, IN 46565 (not eligible for remote work). Position may require minimal air and car travel. Some work will be performed in the plant manufacturing environment with walking and trip hazards. There will be long periods of consecutive days standing and walking on various terrain during RV events, as well as sitting at a desk looking at a computer monitor for long periods of time. Vision acuity including color vision; communicating through phone, email, and in person; bending, twisting, kneeling, pulling, reaching with arms and hands; lifting up to 25 pounds; use of hands and fingers to operate standard office equipment, cameras, and setting/staging RV units and trade shows.

    Wages to commensurate with experience.
