Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of at least 2 years’ experience in referrals, medical billing, and administration. Medical billing certificate preferred. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule; Saturdays may be required.
Ability to assist the Practice Manager in medical billing for insurance claims to client’s insurance companies and following up on Accounts Receivable. Answer medical billing inquiries and assisting insurance companies and clients on accounts as necessary. Knowledge and experience with third party medical insurance reimbursement requirements.
Ability to coordinate incoming referrals and authorization management for existing clients.
