Regional Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies, including staffing, compensation, benefits, visa/green card processing, employee relations, training, and health and safety programs for a region within an organization. Ensures existing programs in compliance with government regulations. Being a Regional Human Resources Manager may lead the work of Human Resources Business Partners. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Human Resources Manager typically reports to a Director or top executive. The Regional Human Resources Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Regional Human Resources Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Manufacturing company needs a Human Resources Manager who will be responsible for all aspects of human resources. I have two job openings. One is with an automotive company, one is with a food company. One job is in a Memphis suburb in Arkansas. The other is in northwestern Tennessee. Relocation assistance is available. The clients seek an experienced manager who is an effective communicator and capable of working independently. The selected candidate will partner with plant management to meet corporate objectives and enhance plant productivity and morale. Will have human resources oversight for both salaried and hourly employees.
- Responsible for recruitment, employee relations, employee development, training, and employee communications
- Plan, implement, and evaluate HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Responsible for compensation and salary administration
- Ensure compliance with all employment-related federal, state and local government laws.
- Manage administration and communication of benefit programs.
- Manage administrative transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. MBA preferred.
- Minimum three years’ experience as a human resources manager, with well-rounded earlier generalist experience.
- Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment, with HR oversight for several hundred people. Corporate level HR experience is preferred.
- HR certification, SPHR or PHR is preferred.
- Should have knowledge about OSHA and safety training.
