Regional Medical Director establishes and implements health care policies and standards, evaluates new treatments, and conducts medical research to ensure the quality of the medical care provided to patients for a specified region. Writes research publications to support clinical service offerings. Being a Regional Medical Director is responsible for strategic clinical relationships with physicians in the region. Oversees the development of the clinical content in marketing materials. Additionally, Regional Medical Director ensures all regional clinical programs are in compliance with laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Medical Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Regional Medical Director opportunity in Lebanon, NH. The Regional Medical Director will provide leadership and will work in close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Executive Director of Clinical Operations to ensure policies and standards are of the highest quality of medical care for our patients. The RMD may represent the regions external Joint venture and hospital partnerships ensuring regional consistency and communication with center providers and clinical staff. In addition to these administrative duties, the licensed Regional Medical Director will maintain an active clinical presence in providing care for our urgent care patients.

    This is a full time salary position exempt from overtime. Travel: Occasional travel to partnering hospitals and regional urgent care centers is required for this role

     

    Skills and Qualifications:

    •          Judgement and decision making

    •          Operations analysis

    •          Management of personnel resources

    •          Performance management

     

    Education & Experience:

    •          Licensed Medical Provider (MD, DO) with emergency or urgent care experience

    •          Must have proven experience in leadership and or administrative role

    •          Prior experience as a medical director, preferred

    •           

    Compensation Structure: • Base Pay • Stipend • Provider Incentive Plan (Q3- 22) Supervisory

     

    Responsibility: Lead Providers in the assigned region report to this position. The position also oversees mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) in the region who report to the Lead Providers
