    Essential Functions:

    Supports and manages all education managers and directors at all facilities.
    Supports the Education Specialist/staff in the coordination of educational offerings and professional development activities.
    Effectively plans and administers the technologies and resources used for educational purposes.
    Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
    Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
    Oversee the nurse extern and nurse residency program and students
    Monitors certification and renewal status of all employees within the market
    Verifies and oversees TJC requirements for compliance pertaining to competencies and skills verifications throughout the market.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum EducationValid RN license in the state of Kentucky-RequiredBachelor's degree required
    Master's degree preferred
    Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Ability to appropriately manage education/staff development department staff.
