Key Qualifications:

• Implement and maintain effective, efficient systems to maintain the facility's physical plant,
• Oversee and ensure work quality of housekeeping, laundry and maintenance staff.
• Safely meet the needs of staff and residents in compliance with federal, state and local requirements
• Ensure the efficient use and retention of equipment and physical plant systems.

Skills:

• Determine personnel requirements and make recommendations for staffing needs.
• Develop, implement and maintain procedures to ensure that the facility is maintained in accordance with company policies.
• Order or requisition sufficient supplies and equipment to operate department safely, efficiently and to respond promptly to requests for routine maintenance.
• Oversee facility's fire and disaster safety programs.

Experience:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Post-secondary training and at least 1 year of experience in HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. Have knowledge and work experience with application of building codes, safety regulations and fire codes. Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
• Able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
