Therapy tech will assist with restorative care and transportation of patients at the LTC facility for part of the day.  They will assist with outpatient therapy care and closing duties at YGH Therapy Department.  Full time position 36 hours a week M-F from 9am to 5:30pm.

Nature of Work
York General Rehabilitation Services is looking for a therapy tech that will assist therapists with treatment set-up and take-down. If you'd like to be an active part of the healing process for our patients working to physically improve their quality of life, this is a great opportunity for you!

What You Will Do

• This person will assist with restorative care and transportation of patients at the LTC facility for part of the day, as well as assist with closing duties at York General Therapy.
• Assist therapists with treatment set-up and take-down.
• Involved with providing direct treatment and care to patients.
• Removes soiled linen and replaces it with clean linen on each of the treatment tables after individual treatments have been performed.
• Performs front office duties including answering phone, scheduling patients, entering patient charges, and other duties as assigned.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in patient care preferred
