Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Job Description: The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for assisting direct service staff facilitate interventions that results in the improvement in symptoms or personal distress for clients. The rehab specialist is responsible for assisting the client and the client’s treatment team to address mental health and somatic issues such as mental illness, substance abuse or behavioral issues in a secure and safe environment. This position will provide services to both children and adults and assisting with providing behavioral interventions through community outreach, individual, family, and group counseling services. The rehab specialist is also responsible for developing person-centered Individual Rehabilitation Plans, clinical assessments and maintaining record documentation that is consistent with accreditation standards and COMAR requirements and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in case conferences and treatment team reviews of client’s progress
Provide general administrative support, as needed (i.e., program reports)
Provide client monitoring and case management
