Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor responsibilities include providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Oversees staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the health care facility. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The Rehabilitation Team at Essentia Health-52nd Avenue Clinic seeks a physical therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be motivated, put patients first, work later afternoons (9 AM to 5:30 PM for example), and be a great team player. The current PT team treats patients with the following conditions: orthopedic, balance/falls/gait, cervical/back pain, TMJ, vertigo and pelvic floor conditions. We are looking for a skilled therapist to compliment this team.
The Rehabilitation Team at the 52nd Avenue Clinic consists of 3 other full-time PTs. This team works closely with the primary care team at the clinic.
No call, however there is a possible opportunity for assisting with weekend and holiday rotation at our Fargo hospital (Essentia Health-Fargo).
