Rehabilitation Services Supervisor jobs in New Britain, CT

Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor responsibilities include providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Oversees staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the health care facility. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a license in the area of specialization. The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     RN Supervisor For Day Shift- Monday- Friday

    What You'll Do:

     

    As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
    • Administering medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed
    • Monitoring and recording patient vital signs and medical information
    • Providing wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
    • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery
    • Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care
