Rehabilitation Services Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the rehabilitation therapy function. Supervises the delivery of therapy programs to patients. Being a Rehabilitation Services Supervisor responsibilities include providing consultation to and monitoring the performance of the rehabilitation staff. Oversees staff and ensures that all policies and procedures are followed as set forth by the health care facility. Additionally, Rehabilitation Services Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Supervise the delivery of patient care services, quality outcomes and teammate performance within area of responsibility. Prioritizes the patient experience and outcomes while striving to provide care in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Works with other clinical departments and peers to improve the coordination of care and assist the department in achieving the desired outcomes. Seeks opportunities to grow the program further and is an active participant in strategic planning for area of responsibility. Provides high quality, direct clinical care as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology.
Experience: Three (3) years' experience required; prior management experience in rehabilitation field preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current South Carolina licensure to practice in respective therapy discipline is required. Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
