Reimbursement Services Director directs and supervises the activities of the claims and provider reimbursement personnel. Handles third-party reimbursement for services rendered to patients. Being a Reimbursement Services Director sets procedures for filing reimbursement claims and ensures timely and accurate claims payments. Monitors, evaluates and reviews all cost reporting in support of reimbursement claims. Additionally, Reimbursement Services Director develops policies and procedures compliant with fiscal and regulatory requirements. Oversees the collection of statistical and financial data needed for preparing annual and monthly health insurance reports. May require an advanced degree. Typically reports to top management. The Reimbursement Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Full-Time


    SCHEDULE:  Primarily a day shift Monday-Friday. Must be able to attend evening/weekend meetings and events. Must be available 24/7 for emergencies and/or agency/program oversite.   


    GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Administrative Services will oversee all business operations, people and programs of Axess Family Services.


       

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Oversee and/or direct program design, implementation and execution of Administrative Departments including Building & Grounds, Maintenance and IT.  
    2. Develop agency goals and objectives, both short-term and long-term.
    3. Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiencies across departments.
    4. Develop business plans and strategies.
    5. Implement best practices to optimize organizational processes.
    6. Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of leadership staff providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance. 
    7. Oversee the agency’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures.
    8. Analyze problematic situations and issues and provide solutions to ensure agency growth. 
    9. May serve as a public speaker and/or public relations representative of the agency at the direction of the Executive Director.
    10. Communicate and maintain trust relationships with community shareholders, business partners and elected officials.
    11. Reward performance, identify potential problems and resolve issues in collaboration with leadership staff and the Executive Director.
    12. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements.
    13. Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

      

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Proven collaboration skills and the ability to lead a diverse group of non-profit professionals.
    2. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
    3. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
    4. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    5. Demonstrable experience as a Senior Leader or Manager. 
    6. Proven ability to identify, hire, train and mentor leadership staff. 
    7. Valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable. 
    8. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal background check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification &      Investigation) if applicable.

    MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree in Business Administration or similar field. 

     

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Ten years proven experience as a Managing Director or other senior managerial position.
