Release Engineering Manager jobs in Sumter, SC
Release Engineering Manager manages and oversees the software builds and releases. Directs the work of engineers to ensure the best practices around design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems including source code control and issue tracking. Being a Release Engineering Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior manager. The Release Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Release Engineering Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Responsibilities
- Perform inspections for a wide variety of projects including commercial, institutional, industrial and residential buildings.
- Inspections should verify construction conforms to all applicable codes and project plans and specifications.
- The ability to work independently, communicate effectively and maintain professional working relationships with clients and coworkers.
- Interaction with representatives of Office of School Facilities (OSF) and the Office of State Engineer (OSE).
- Produce detailed inspection reports.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 2 years of experience in Code Inspections
- ICC Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Inspector Certifications
- SCLLR Registration
- Self-motivation and ability to manage time and priorities.
- Ability to complete projects and tasks on an individual basis, as well as work collaboratively as part of a project team.
- Capable of developing and nurturing client relationships and pursuing new project opportunities
