As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial operation of our rental agency. You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, managing financial transactions, and collaborating with various teams to maintain accurate records. As well as various human resources activities like employment, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive rental accounting and human resources, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
· Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with rental agency policies and regulations.
· Lead and motivate the accounting team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
· Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in human resources and accounting.
· Manage relationships with vendors and financial institutions, negotiating terms and resolving any financial discrepancies.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
· Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
· Implement and enforce internal controls to safeguard the rental agencies assets and financial integrity.
· Oversees the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
· Assist in the talent acquisition and recruitment processes
· Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or proven experience in automotive rental accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
· Strong knowledge of dealership accounting software.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.
· Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
· Proven experience in human resources
