Reporter researches a variety of news stories through interviews, observation, and library and/or online resources. Determines tone and intended audience of story. Being a Reporter investigates and writes a variety of simple news stories. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Reporter typically reports to a supervisor. The Reporter works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Reporter typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
