Reservoir Engineering Manager jobs in Sumter, SC
Reservoir Engineering Manager plans and directs all aspects of engineering studies regarding the identification, evaluation, and development of oil and gas reserves within a region. Oversees the process of estimating, assessing, and planning oil and gas production and development projects. Being a Reservoir Engineering Manager ensures all projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, Reservoir Engineering Manager typically reports to top management. The Reservoir Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Responsibilities
- Perform inspections for a wide variety of projects including commercial, institutional, industrial and residential buildings.
- Inspections should verify construction conforms to all applicable codes and project plans and specifications.
- The ability to work independently, communicate effectively and maintain professional working relationships with clients and coworkers.
- Interaction with representatives of Office of School Facilities (OSF) and the Office of State Engineer (OSE).
- Produce detailed inspection reports.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- 2 years of experience in Code Inspections
- ICC Building, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Inspector Certifications
- SCLLR Registration
- Self-motivation and ability to manage time and priorities.
- Ability to complete projects and tasks on an individual basis, as well as work collaboratively as part of a project team.
- Capable of developing and nurturing client relationships and pursuing new project opportunities
