Supervises and trains staff, and plans work schedules and assignments. Heartland Residential Care is seeking a full time manager for one of our ISL homes in the Gladstone area. We prefer someone with healthcare and management experience and/or experience with the MR/DD population although these preferences aren't required. It is a working supervisor position so; you will work alongside your subordinates daily. The position requires supervision and scheduling of subordinates, training coaching and evaluating employees, strong written and verbal communication skills, and assisting intellectually disabled individuals with all areas of daily activity. Must be caring, reliable, and able to think on their feet.
The qualified applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and a vehicle, and be able to pass a background screening required by the Missouri Department of Mental Health.
This is a salaried position with incentive pay for hours worked beyond your routine schedule.
