Responsibilities:

The Assistant Caregiver provides assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations. You may be required to respond to emergency calls and situations; document and report care provided; and transport residents to various functions or locations. Familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population is essential for this role.

• Regularly review, follow, and adhere to the residents’ care plan
• Escort and/or assist residents to other departments and/or functions and activities
• Perform daily tasks such as bed-making, laundry, table setting, wash dishes, etc.
• Provide non hands-on assistance to residents in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or both
• Document and report assistance provided and resident observations including unusual or significant changes in physical, mental, or behavioral conditions

Requirements:

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
• Under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable)
• Completes all state educational requirements for the position
