Job Overview:
The Wellness Supervisor is responsible to the Wellness Director in the managing the Wellness Staff. Performs a variety of medication duties as assigned. Monitors daily health status and reports to Wellness Director. Assists residents with ADL’s as required. In absence of management staff, acts as building supervisor.
Education:
High-School diploma
Successful completion of a New York State Department of Health training program as a Certified Nurse Aide; Personal Care Aide; Home Health Aide OR documented assisted living/group home personal care training program approved by Regional Director of Healthcare & Administration OR Registered or Licensed Nurse
Certification as a Medication Technician by Arcadia Management, Inc.
Certification as a Supervisor by Arcadia Management, Inc.
First Aid Certification
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Experience:
Two years experience in a related field preferred.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
_ Supervisory:_
Provides general direction to Wellness staff to ensure that they are providing adequate and appropriate care and following posted assignments.
In the absence of management staff, acts as the building supervisor responsible for but not limited to the following:
othe supervision of all building staff
o managing building emergencies
o managing resident emergencies including but not limited to illness, missing residents, and expirations
o handling resident/visitor concerns
Monitors staffing in resident areas and assigns staff as required.
Ensures staff is at work as scheduled.
Schedules staff for sick call coverage as required.
Monitors all resident logs, e.g. showering/toileting, to ensure resident care provided as indicated.
Monitors the staff daily routines to ensure adherence.
Assists Wellness Director with orientation and training of new hires.
Assists Wellness Director with ongoing training of Wellness staff.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
