The Wachusett Respiratory Care Unit at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center has openings, and we want you to be a part of our incredible team!

As a CNA on our Respiratory Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients. The Respiratory Unit is a specialty unit providing care to patients with ALS, Traumatic Brain Injury and Ventilator Dependency. The desired candidate will have a passion for caring for residents needing 24-hour critical care in a long-term care environment. This center is part of Oriol Health Care, a family owned and operated company, providing outstanding care for more than 50 years.

We have 4-hour shifts, and 8 hour shifts available:

7pm - 11pm

7am - 3pm

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance

• Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional

• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member

• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant  certification and CNA license

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

• Compassionate and patient demeanor

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules

• Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility, as needed
