Respiratory Care Manager plans and implements the overall respiratory care policies, procedures, and services. Ensures efficient and effective departmental operations. Being a Respiratory Care Manager directs the activities of the respiratory therapy section. Supervises technical staff and students. Additionally, Respiratory Care Manager prepares departmental budgets and reports. Evaluates new equipment and procedures. Typically requires RRT registration. May require a bachelor's degree. Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Contract Duration: 3 Month’s Contract (with Possibility of Extension)
Shift Requirements: Night Shift (36/hr a week 12/hr a Day 3 Days a Week)
Duties:
Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting preferred.
Knowledge of procedures and techniques of Respiratory Therapy and the operation and repair of respiratory equipment.
Clinical decision making skills appropriate to patient care as it relates to the pulmonary and cardiac system and to the age of the patient.
Ability to interpret the appropriate information to identify patient’s needs.
Ability to work under stress.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and staff.
Some computer skills.
Experience & Education:
Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program.
Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association).
