Providence Health Plan is calling an Actuarial Analyst who will:

• Perform technical analysis
• Collaborate with peers and management to help Actuarial department and the company meet the market and financial goals
• Support the financial performance review of all commercial line of business as well as setting rates
• Assist in the rate setting and rate filing efforts, which includes competitive analysis, network analysis, risk adjustment, trend, actuarial benefit value analysis, rate adequacy review, product pricing and more

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following States:

• Washington
• Oregon
• California

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or another related field of study
• Successful completion of 1 exams of the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
• 2 years of experience in a finance, actuarial, actuarial internship, or another similar role

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• 2 years of experience in health insurance
