SUMMARY : Mold and Melt Operators (recognized internally as M Operators) are responsible for melting and / or molding operations within the organization.
Other organizational functions outside of molding and melting are recognized in higher levels of the M function. The three levels of skills and mastery are outlined in the M Development Plan (AMT ).
M operators are able to advance through various levels in the M function as skills, knowledge, and capabilities allow, as well as the need to meet organizational needs.

Education and / or Experience Expected : High School Diploma or G.E.D required.Must pass ATEK Molder and Melting Training to become a Certified Molder / Melter.
Must pass ATEK Functional Job Analysis and Pre- Employment Drug Screen for the position. Preferred : Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
National Career Readiness Certificate is preferred. Communication Skills : Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Working Conditions : Frequent exposure to foundry like environment (high heat, dust, etc.).
