Rist-Frost-Shumway Engineering, P.C. (RFS), a growing 90 -person consulting engineering firm with offices in Laconia, NH, Boston, MA, and Portland, ME is seeking candidates to join our talented and team-focused staff.

RFS project types include college/university, healthcare, laboratory, private secondary school, public K-12 school, commercial, industrial, government, and historic preservation -- all with a focus on sustainable design.

Construction Administrator position requires 10 years’ field experience, with substantial hands-on field experience required with a knowledge of HVAC, plumbing/fire protection and/or electrical systems construction. Plus, a desire to work as part of a team with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners. Position entails receiving/reviewing Submittals and RFI’s, performing periodic project site visits throughout project construction phases. Strong written and verbal skills are required, as well as the ability to read and understand construction drawings/prints. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as ability to navigate web-based construction management sites to interact with ongoing projects. Current licensed trade contractors looking for a career pivot, while still applying their professional skills, are encouraged to apply.
