The principal serves as the educational administrator and manager of the building and is responsible for the site-based budget, academic scheduling, supervision and evaluation of staff, recruitment and retention of personnel, as well as the operation and management of the school facility. The successful candidate will have Massachusetts DESE licensure as a principal (grades 9-12); a minimum of five years of teaching experience; demonstrated leadership in curriculum, budgeting, and staff development; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to maintain a caring and supportive school culture; demonstrated ability in staff recruitment, mentoring, supervision, and evaluation; a Master’s degree in educational administration or a related field of leadership; and experience as an administrator and supervisor.
