Develop and maintain data base for reference by clinical staff. Review all charts to obtain necessary information to schedule endoscopies, current and follow-up procedures.
Schedule procedure at appropriate facility (i.e. computer system, booking sheets, etc). Act as a resource person for endoscopy information for both patients and staff.
Be familiar with and follow established protocols for insurance providers including all Managed Care companies. Minimum of high school diploma.
Medical background with knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Accuracy and attention to detail. Computer skills necessary.
Ability to prioritize tasks and make appropriate judgement decisions.
