    As the Physical Security Systems Administrator, you will assist the Solution Engineer with all aspects and phases of physical security system solution services in assigned territory. Serves as a subject matter expert regarding video surveillance, physical access control, intrusion detection systems, and other physical security technology applications. Promotes, creates awareness of, and provides training to security management and sales staff regarding security systems solution services. Collaborates on security system design issues with clients, vendors, and colleagues. Ensures strong customer service by managing expectations, executing on commitments, and providing support throughout the client relationship cycle.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Design Thinking, adherence to Policy and procedures and action planning.
    • Ability to handle, triage, and attend to multiple and competing priorities
    • Ability to research, examine and disseminate information 
    • Advanced knowledge of access control, alarm, video systems, software installation and administration. 
    • General knowledge of lock and key services including multiple master and sub master key Security/IT related certifications
    • Experience with analytics and reporting applications. 
    • Provides basic service to all security alarms, access control, video camera systems, and other security technology systems. 
    • Monitor enterprise-wide security alerts, provide security support, and protect assets by identifying, analyzing, and responding to physical security incidents that could impact company assets or team members
    • Conducts basic diagnosis and repairs and provides preventative maintenance for all electronic security equipment.
    • Will appropriately communicate with management and leads in response to security alerts, critical event management, or emergency response
    • Demonstrated experience integrating Video and Access Control systems.
    • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal/team skills.

    • Ability to multi-task, excellent time management skills.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Collaborate with local IT team as well as outside vendors as needed.
    • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
    • Identify appropriate solutions and/or discover and resolve defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
    • Record, track, and documents the problem-solving process, including successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final decision.
    • Execute other assigned projects/tasks as delegated by the Solution Engineer.

    • Ability to recognize, analyze, and effectively solve problems in a timely and organized manner.
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
    • Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.
    • Highly self-motivated and directed, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Experience with project management
    • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Overtime hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
    • Physical Requirements: Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (> 50 lbs.)

     

    Education/Experience:  A minimum of an associate degree in information technology IT, Computer Science or 

    related field is preferred, and progressively responsible physical security systems experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Preferred qualifications are I-Star Panel experience, PSP certification; experience/certification with AMAG, CCURE, Avigilon, Axis and/or Milestone; experience with video analytics; and experience with remote video monitoring solutions.
