Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Service Writer at Lakeshore Tire and Auto Service, your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Listening to customer concerns and accurately documenting vehicle issues.
- Coordinating appointments and managing the service schedule.
- Providing customers with detailed estimates for repairs and maintenance.
- Communicating effectively with the service and technical team.
- Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any necessary repairs.
- Performing test drives to diagnose car issues accurately.
- Handling customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
