ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Opens work orders and segments via the DBS system
• Manages Field Service and Shop work orders
• Reviews work orders and verifies completion of service reports prior to handing off for approval
• works with the service operations manager/office supervisor
• Monitors and reports on the work in process for all areas of the Service Department
• Interacts with customers to obtain purchase orders and provide information
• Close work orders as approved
• Must maintain a reliable flow of communication between the customer and all WMC personnel for work order process flow
• Help maintain a positive, progressive attitude at all time to bring value to the service department and the overall perception of Wyoming Machinery Company

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

• Answers telephone and transfers calls
• File and maintains records
• Assists with time card entry
• Creates memos, letters, and spreadsheets as needed
• May be involved in special projects such as capital budget or operating statement coding

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITY

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Proficient in use of a desktop computer, including Microsoft Office products
• Some knowledge of database applications
• Ability to work with customers in a professional manner and develop/maintain relationships

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

·    Office environment; quiet to moderate noise level

·    Frequent sitting/standing  for long periods using a computer

·    Frequent use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling, and writing and typing

·    Overtime and varying schedules may be required
