Job Description: *
Location: * Lebanon, Oregon (Relocation within 40 miles of Lebanon Oregon Campus is required)
Position Summary:
Supervises employees and coordinates day to day activities of shipping and receiving team. Responsible for ensuring that incoming items are properly received, tagged, and stored or delivered as needed. Responsible for ensuring that shipments to customers and transports to outside vendors are properly packaged, on-time and are successfully delivered. The shipping and receiving supervisor’s ability to provide leadership, analyze and make decisions, and to support a culture of continuous improvement is critical success in this position.

• Supervises shipping and receiving team members using servant leadership principles.
• Supports team to follow BOM, Sales order, or other requirements for both shipping and receiving materials to support the manufacture of ENTEK equipment and parts.
• Oversees inventorying items for shipping, packaging items as needed to ensure ENTEK’s quality standards upon arrival, and shipping items.
• Assists team using UPS Worldship or FedEx shipping applications for smaller or expedited items.
• Leads locating and scheduling trucks for larger shipments or putting loads out for bid.
• Ensures sufficient materials and tools available for workers when larger items require custom built crates, pallets, or other containers to meet quality assurance standards. Provides support when items require packaging conducive to ease of assembly by customers. This can include printing and organizing a plan/drawing package and clearly marking kits within the packaging for ease of inventory and assembly.
• Supervise Loading as needed and ‘coaches’ OTR drivers on properly tying down products to avoid damage and ensure quality standards.
• Follows company policies and enforces safety regulations.
• Partners with manufacturing and production planning groups to meet delivery goals.
• Ensures all incoming parts/items are properly recorded in the ERP system.
• Ensures incoming parts reconciled with vendor’s pack slip, parts tagged per BOM, placed in appropriate location, and marked as received and accounted for within appropriate kit.
• Ensures communication to concerned parties if an expedited item or requisitioned item is received.
• Provides for delivery of items to departments throughout campus, or to designated managed inventory location (fittings, fasteners, steel for machine shop, etc.).
• Organizes unloading and receiving incoming materials for work orders.
• Responsible for receiving, accounting for, and delivering Customer Supplied Products to the correct department.
• Coordinates team organizing assembly kits to ensure items received for a given project are put together in a kit, using the latest BOM as a checklist.
• Follow Lean manufacturing practices.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience: *

• 3 years’ experience leading a team.
• 3 years’ experience in Shipping and Receiving environments.

• Demonstrated ability to lead people and communicate effectively with other departments and outside vendors.
• Outlook/Excel/Word competence
• ERP system user experience
• Must demonstrate time management skills and self-manage behavior.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to work under stress and to tight deadlines
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
