Social Work Manager plans and implements programs to meet the social and emotional needs of patients and patients' families in a health care setting. Develops plans for patient care after release from treatment. Being a Social Work Manager provides social services to patients/clients and their families. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, patients and their families to assess patient social needs and monitor progress of medical treatment. Additionally, Social Work Manager coordinates planning for post-discharge care. Supervises professional staff. Prepares departmental budgets and reports. Requires a master's degree of Social Work. Typically reports to a director. The Social Work Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Requirements for the General Manager:- Achieve budgeted monthly sales at the budgeted gross margin.
- Achieving sales at the desired gross margin
- Creating and managing procedures and programs
- Consistently achieving Gross Margin goals for Installation, Service, and Plumbing departments
- Ongoing review of company performance; adjust company operations as appropriate.
- Hire, train, lead, and coach the service & installation team, ensuring peak performance and continuous improvement.
- Create budgets, sales projections, and manage service inventory policies and pricing.
- Lead & coach assigned co-workers and oversee hiring, management, and discipline of key office positions.
- Coordinate sales and marketing activities, including speaking directly with customers when necessary.
- Establish goals, KPIs, and objectives for the business and team members, and measure/report progress regularly.
- Manage facility and vehicle maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency.
Requirements of the General Manager:- 5-10 years of progressive responsibility in Operations.
- Experience as a Commercial Plumbing Supervisor/Manager required.
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Good computer skills. Knowledge of common office applications such as
- MS Word, MS Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a complex Operations environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
