Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to support the UX-UI/Development team. This role will interpret and translate product requirements into test cases and lead testing for multiple, complex B2B software projects at once to ensure quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement testing plans for payment-related software products ranging from cloud applications, to on-premise solutions, and a mobile app with a rapidly expanding product line
• Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports on multiple software projects of varying size
• Help establish procedures and processes for the quality control of products, taking initiative to identify areas to improve internal processes related to product releases and bug fixes
• Inform the development/UX team of defects and errors with clear communication of quantitative and qualitative findings from test results
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts, and monitor efforts to resolve product issues and provide updates
• Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meet end-user expectations
• Research the current market for similar products and compare results
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication (in English)
• Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, organizational, and issue resolution
• Ability to organize, self-manage, follow-through and coordinate for prioritization
• Good problem-solving skills and demonstrating a keen interest in, and affinity to technology
• Diligent and meticulous with high regard for top standards
• Proficient in creating Test plans and defect tracking processes preferred
• Proficient in conducting black box and white box testing preferred
• Proficient in performing regression and performance testing preferred
• Preferred to have experience working in automation tools (like Selenium)
• Knowledge in working with Scrum/Agile processes for improving team communication and transparency

Qualifications for QA Analyst:

• BA or BS, preferably in computer science, IT, engineering, or science/technology-based discipline is desired
• 3 years of hands on experience in QA or software testing role
• Experience with payment or accounting systems preferred
• Desire to stay in Irvine and grow with company for long time preferred
• Must be US citizen or permanent resident green card holder for this role, will not sponsor
