As an Azure Cloud Engineer at Goalline, you will be a key player in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform. Reporting to: Chief Technology Officer - Goalline Solutions

Responsibilities:
● Architect, design, support and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions; Azure VM's, App Services, SQL managed Instances, Application Gateways.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into existing infrastructure.
● Develop, recommend and implement automation scripts to streamline deployment processes and enhance system efficiency.
● Continuously optimize Azure resources to improve performance, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
● Implement and enforce security and compliance best practices for Azure environments.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, taking a proactive approach to security measures.
● Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Qualifications for Success:
The ideal candidate for the role will possess the following characteristics:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related experience.
● Strong expertise in Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking. (Azure Certification required)
● Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
● Deep understanding of security and network configuration - NSG, WAF, Application Gateways.
● Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
● Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
