    Spa Manager

    Cascada is seeking a Spa Manager. The Spa Manager is responsible for the day-to day operations of our hydro-therapy facility and spa program to include hiring and scheduling of Providers front desk staff and attendants, staff training and management of the facility and retail. Must be able to lead and motivate staff to achieve goals and exceed guest expectations.


    What will I be doing?


    As a Spa Manager, you would be responsible for directing and administering the activities and services of all Spa operations. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    Direct and administer all Spa operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, sales and relations, programming, merchandising and marketing/revenue generation, inventory management and cost controls, systems use and management, budget and forecasting, report generation, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation.



    Requirements

    • Hire & Train Front Desk Staff
    • Hire & Train Spa Attendants


    • Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward.
    • Resolve guest issues and concerns to guest satisfaction.
    • Maintain a fully staffed facility by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training all staff.
    • Ensure the staff is fully knowledgeable of the use and benefits of services, products, programs, and activities by conducting regularly scheduled staff meetings and training workshops.
    • Ensure appropriate facility supervisory coverage through use of a Manager on Duty (MOD) system.
    • Assess all employees' progress continually, trains employees, coaches’ employees with positive reinforcement and disciplines fairly and consistently, participates in annual performance evaluations, and assists in the termination process when necessary.
    • Ensure team members have current knowledge of spa products, services, facilities, events and pricing and policies.
    • Provide excellent customer service and monitors guest feedback using comment cards and other customer care techniques. Supervises and follows up on guest requests and comments.
    • Ensure facility is only accessed by actual members and/or guests, and that it is always safe and secure.
    • Ensure fiscal responsibility through efficient scheduling of facility and makes necessary changes to stay within budgetary guidelines.
    • Ensure that the spa is successfully positioned within the respective marketplace 
    • Ensure that financial goals are attained by developing and implementing a retail sales plan. Establishes service and retail goals for staff and provides guidance on how to achieve them.
    • Develop a schedule of seasonal utilization patterns to be used in the budgeting process and effective payroll management.
    • Ensures compliance with all state licensing and health requirements with the assistance of the GM
    • Prepares any incident or accident reports and forwards them to the GM
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Assist with Social Media Marketing for the hotel & spa (Promotion of Packages & specials)
    • Develop copy for scheduled emails based on the theme, needs, goals, etc.
    • Oversee tracking of email effectiveness and report, suggest modifications based on results for improvement.
