Speech and Language Pathology Director plans and directs the operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions to ensure effective operation and compliance with regulatory standards. Designs policies and processes to ensure efficient service delivery and promote best practices. Being an Speech and Language Pathology Director develops and implements long-term strategic plans and objectives for audiology and speech therapy programs in alignment with the organization's overall objectives. Provides leadership and oversight to the development and expansion of programs or service offerings. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathology Director evaluates program design, assessment tools, and treatment protocols and researches advancements in the field. Develops and manages the budget to allocate resources to support staffing, equipment, and other program needs. Monitors operational and financial metrics to measure the achievement of organizational objectives. Negotiates and selects vendor proposals and manages vendors to maintain inventories and adhere to budgets. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Speech and Language Pathology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Speech and Language Pathology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Home Health Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide support and assistance in the evaluation and treatment of patients with communication and swallowing disorders in their homes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in conducting patient evaluations.
    • Implement treatment plans and exercises developed by the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to improve patient function.
    • Work with patients to practice speech and language exercises and swallowing techniques.
    • Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Maintain detailed records of patient care and assist with necessary documentation.
    • Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders and treatment options.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
    • Active license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the state of Arizona.
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, preferably in a home health setting.
    • Strong knowledge of communication and swallowing disorders and their treatment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients and their families.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to drive and have access to reliable transportation.
    • Must be able to lift and move equipment, as needed.
