Speech and Language Pathology Director plans and directs the operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions to ensure effective operation and compliance with regulatory standards. Designs policies and processes to ensure efficient service delivery and promote best practices. Being an Speech and Language Pathology Director develops and implements long-term strategic plans and objectives for audiology and speech therapy programs in alignment with the organization's overall objectives. Provides leadership and oversight to the development and expansion of programs or service offerings. Additionally, Speech and Language Pathology Director evaluates program design, assessment tools, and treatment protocols and researches advancements in the field. Develops and manages the budget to allocate resources to support staffing, equipment, and other program needs. Monitors operational and financial metrics to measure the achievement of organizational objectives. Negotiates and selects vendor proposals and manages vendors to maintain inventories and adhere to budgets. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Speech and Language Pathology Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Speech and Language Pathology Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team at =Speech Therapy Plus. The Speech Therapist will work collaboratively with our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other professionals to provide speech and language therapy services to children and adolescents with ASD and related developmental disorders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in pediatric speech therapy, conducting speech/language, AAC communication and oral motor assessments, making recommendations and individualized plan of care

    Responsibilities include providing speech-language therapy, providing training to team members and families, conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and monitoring the progress of each child.

    Must have ability to counsel parents and provide at come carryover strategies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine speech and language needs of clients
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals
    • Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions, including but not limited to: language development, articulation therapy, fluency therapy, and social communication skills training
    • Provide direct therapy services to clients in both individual and group settings
    • Collaborate with BCBAs and other team members to integrate speech therapy goals into clients' overall treatment plans
    • Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
    • Provide education and training to parents and caregivers on strategies for supporting speech and language development at home
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and client progress

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
    • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in [State]
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Speech Therapist, preferably in pediatric settings
    • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or related developmental disabilities preferred
    • Strong understanding of ABA principles and experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
    • AAC experience required
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $68.00 - $72.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 10 per week
