Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Speech Easy, Speech & Language Therapy, Inc. is currently hiring Speech and Language Pathologists and Speech And Language Pathologist Assistants to provide Early Intervention (birth-36 months) via in-home speech therapy services.

    Responsibilities:

    · Conduct developmental assessments

    · Utilize evidence-based practice to provide speech therapy services in the child’s natural environments (daycare, home, community settings)

    · Follow the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and collaborate with other professionals working with the family

    · Complete progress reports

    · Coach family members and other caregivers in the child’s natural environments (daycare, home, community settings) to utilize different intervention strategies for active involvement.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    · California state SLP license

    · ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs)

    · Own transportation

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Minimum of 6 months full time or 1-year part-time experience with Early Intervention population (birth-36 months)
