Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages the daily operations of an organization's audiology and speech therapy functions. Plans and develops speech therapy programs and evaluates program objectives and results to determine effectiveness. Being an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor reviews assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes to ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Monitors inventories and supplies and tracks spending to ensure adherence to departmental budgets. Additionally, Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor implements operational procedures to ensure effective care, promote best practices, and facilitate efficient workflow. Provides professional guidance and oversight to resolve complex cases or issues. Recruits, hires, and manages staff and designs and leads development and training activities. May require a master's degree in audiology or speech pathology. Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Speech and Language Therapy Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a talented bilingual speech language pathologist to join our growing team of dedicated professionals! This position provides evaluative, therapeutic and consultative services for children of all ages who exhibit developmental delays or impairments in the areas that impact speech, language, feeding/swallowing, sensory systems, emotional regulation, fine/gross motor, and cognition. We offer tele-therapy and clinic therapy services in our beautiful facility! 

     

     

    Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

     

    • Assess, diagnose, and treat clients within a multi-disciplinary clinic setting and/or tele-therapy.
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop effective individualized of treatment plans
    • Develop home programs and direct therapy for a pediatric population (0-18)
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, parents, and caregivers during progress report meetings
    • Supervision of SLP-Assistant if needed.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS PEDIATRIC SLP

     

    1. Master’s degree in  Speech Language Pathology (SLP) (CFs Considered)
    2. State of North Carolina license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
    3. At least two (2) years of pediatric experience is a PLUS 
    4. Early Childhood Intervention experience is a PLUS.5. Excellent Communication skills

     

    Fluency in Spanish and English is a PLUS.


     

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    • Valid North Carolina Driver’s License
    • NC/National Background check
