The individual in this role will be responsible for developing the next generation of Prudential leadership using their expertise in the learning domain and latest learning methodologies to apply to and formulate the most impactful adult learning and leadership development programs. This position is accountable for designing, developing, and managing a portfolio of Prudential’s executive development, leadership, and upskilling programs to enable Prudential’s Vision and Strategy for Growth. End to end advancement and execution of the programs includes overall program management, ensuring key achievements are met, collaborators are engaged and informed, and target learning outcomes are achieved. This role will partner closely with stakeholders from across the enterprise to ensure our talent and business strategies are aligned and our participant experience is best in class. The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence (in Newark, NJ) on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site. What you can expect: Design, lead, and manage multiple premier executive and leadership development programs that elevate management and leadership capability; ensuring programs are aligned to achieving Prudential’s vision and strategy, inclusive leadership, and Prudential’s Global Leadership DNA, as applicable. Consult with stakeholders from across the enterprise to identify leadership or role-based skill gaps that could be supported by programmatic learning solutions. Develop and manage project plans along with key deliverables to keep programs on track, proactively anticipating and mitigating challenges when they arise; tailor to meet the needs of key stakeholder audiences (i.e., executive communications, FAQs, program schedules, nomination process management, etc.). Collaborate closely with learning design and delivery peers; provide expertise and insights into adult learning theory to identify the most impactful program content, training methodology, and support delivery, as needed. Attend in-person training events as needed; set context, help facilitate, and/or introduce program content. Evaluate and report on program impact by measuring outcomes and analyzing member feedback; consistently find opportunities to make improvements, discover efficiencies, and scalability. What you’ll need: Technical skills and domain expertise; experience designing, developing, and operationalizing a large portfolio of learning programs or initiatives. Knowledge of industry trends and research; well-versed in adult learning theory and experience with large scale learning initiatives, digital learning, just-in-time/micro-learning, and blended learning strategies. Innovative thinking with demonstrated ability to turn unique ideas into action. Collaboration and peer coaching skills; can flex to support team goals and outcomes. Executive presence and demonstrated experience influencing senior leadership. Intellectual curiosity and inclusive leadership with a passion for continuous learning and development. It’d be a plus if you had: Solid vendor relationship management skills and the ability to partner with training vendors to build, adapt, and manage learning programs. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior executives across the enterprise, providing coaching and support throughout program advancement and implementation. Strong working relationships with HRBPs, Talent Partners, BRGs, Inclusive Solutions, Culture and Inclusion, and other internal partners to ensure program content and approach is aligned with our business objectives and DEI priorities. An ideal candidate for the L&D function is agile and intellectually curious, able to influence and provide thought leadership in their domain of expertise while effectively navigating ambiguity and driving business outcomes with a learner centric approach. The individual must demonstrate business insight and possess a passion about learning and enhancing learner engagement. Additionally, the ability to build outstanding and constructive working relationships with key partners and foster an inclusive environment will be critical.
