Interviews the patient and family to determine appropriateness for services. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care Admissions obtains initial and ongoing referral documentation from physicians, insurers, and providers. Coordinates the development of patient home care plans that specify the frequency and duration of the services provided. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Home Care Admissions initiates care with service providers. Completes admission, referral, and insurance forms. Utilizes health record management software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent. Requires an RN license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. ANNUAL PAY RANGE: $80,204.80 - $90,355.20

MILEAGE AND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry!
