Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit provides professional nursing care to assigned patients with varying levels of mental health disorders and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities, including outpatients and psychiatric inpatients. Works as part of an interdisciplinary medical team to evaluate patients and develop treatment plans. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit administers medications, monitors patient progress, and records observations in patient medical records. Promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit may supervise lower-level nurses. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. **Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: 24 months of role experience is required. 12 months of Psychiatric Unit experience is required. 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: Candidates must have a Oklahoma license or compact license in hand at the time of application. This role will require floating to multiple units Travel and Local candidates are eligible to apply for this role. Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.
