The Sr. Systems Administrator supports the infrastructure, software, and users of Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) through their focus on the core servers and systems. They serve as the subject matter expert for the SIA systems, servers, data, and backups of including those in the cloud. They are accountable for the roadmap of server leases and support, data dictionary and data classifications, business disaster recovery playbook, and associated systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Makes uptime, cyber security, and system availability the highest priority.
- Monitors server and application performance.
- Ensures proper documentation, processes, and procedures for systems under their purview.
- Maintains the patching and maintenance cycle while communicating with stakeholders.
- Acts as the final point of escalation for help desk tickets.
- Serves as a global administrator for the MS Office Tenants, ensuring proper configuration for business needs.
- In conjunction with the Director – Information Systems, manages enterprise vendors related to servers and enterprise applications.
- Some travel <15% may be required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related technical field.
- Extensive professional experience as a systems administrator with responsibility for multiple data locations.
- Advanced certifications like CISSP, CCNA, or Microsoft 365 Azure Admin desired.
- Experience with cross site support and backups, SD-WAN, database hosting, security, troubleshooting, and issue remediation.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise servers and operating system hardening.
- Experience with vulnerability program management.
The expected salary range for this role in San Jose, CA is $115,000 - $130,000 annually. Exact pay will be commensurate with experience.
