Student Activities Director jobs in Pittsfield, MA
Student Activities Director directs and oversees the development and organization of the university/college's extra-curricular programs including special events. Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Director approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Director typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Student Activities Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Activities Director Certification (ADC)

Job Duties for Activities Director:
- Supervise, schedule and evaluate all staff and volunteers involved in activities program
- Carry out scheduled programs when necessary
- Develop, execute and evaluate programs that reflect the need and interests of the residents
- Coordinate all entertainment for all the residents
- Supervise and maintain activities department staff
- Maintain documentation and comply with all state and federal policies and procedures
