Subrogation Supervisor supervises the activities of the department which processes subrogation claims, such as duplicate coverage, workers' compensation, and no-fault claims according to established standards and schedules. Develops and maintains efficient other party liability and coordination of benefits systems. Being a Subrogation Supervisor may be responsible for hiring, training, and firing staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Subrogation Supervisor typically reports to the head of a unit/department. The Subrogation Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
