Designs systems to consider functional requirements, scalability, and security. Being a Systems Architect defines system solutions based on user needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery. Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. The Systems Administrator is expected to work well in a team-oriented environment, and be committed to following IT policies, procedures, and practices. Overall the IT Systems Administrator strives to increase support available to medical office practice users and decreases the amount of support required from outside vendors with an end goal of increasing overall system availability and user satisfaction to the user base. IT Systems Administrator must be willing to work during any emergency situation, this includes if needed during inclement weather, mass casualty, internal disaster, etc. The IT Desktop Administrator will complete other projects and duties as assigned.
