Additionally, Systems Architect establishes, implements, and documents technology integrations or migration strategies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Systems Architect works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Overview
The Control Systems Specialist provides specific value in developing and integrating automation applications for industrial plant environments. Delivers support to project management throughout the life of the project from project conception through preliminary design, final design, installation, check-out, start-up and on-going support phases. Utilizes PLC and HMI programming tools and techniques, implements applications, supports the resolution of problems and develops documentation of the resolution. The Control Systems Specialist must have a keen desire to go beyond the minimum expectation to guarantee excellent customer service delivery.
