    POSITION SUMMARY:

     

    Responsible the management of all supply chain execution systems deployed in the Manhattan WMS buildings.  This includes WMS, LMS, Slotting, WCS, and Put to Light Systems.  The Sr. Analyst will be accountable to the Logistics Systems Manager for the proper configuration, deployment, and management of applications within the building.  While they will report to the Logistics Systems Manager, they will partner with the manager to ensure proper utilization of the technology by the operations team in the DC.

     

    The Sr. Analyst will be expected to coach the Jr. Analysts with regard to the slotting strategy and partner with the Logistics Systems Manager on its finalization.  The Sr. Analyst will work with the Logistics Systems Manager to build and deploy the on call schedule and ensure operations buy-in.  

     

    Along with the Logistics Systems Manager, the Sr. Analyst will serve as the application SME in the DC and will be expected to ensure robust support structure for end users.  The Sr. analyst will lead issue resolution calls, develop recommendations on work-arounds, and facilitate leadership updates.  Other daily responsibilities include researching inquiries from and educating end users with regard to functionality of the technology on site while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

     

    CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Partner with the Logistics Systems Manager with regard to development of the application support structure
    • Lead Inventory Sync activities
    • Coordinate system changes and enhancements with Logistics Systems Manager and Field WMOS Manager
    • Participate in the development and implementation of best practices for system triage and resolution
    • Own and Execute Slotting moves in accordance with the slot strategy
    • Own the coordination and execution of SOX audit compliance requests including quarterly user provisioning reviews and inventory sync documentation
    • Participate in the development and implementation of best practices for system triage and resolution
    • Coach the Logistics Systems team on database queries and SQL statement development for troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical purposes
    • Lead bridge calls to ensure production issues are driven to resolution
    • Remediate end user behaviors leading to inventory sync issues
    • Develop & maintain system process documentation including best practices, technology enhancements and DC reporting development/analytics
    • Function as primary resource for UAT testing and other system’s development testing including releases and DC Requests
    • Drive multiple system issues to resolution in a timely manner to ensure consistent DC operations
    • Enable smooth DC operation, by working off-shift hours support on nights/weekends (as required)
    • Function as primary point of contact for all end users issues/questions
    • Work with vendors on root cause analysis for issues requiring escalation
    • Provide the DC with subject matter expertise with regard to technology
    • Analyze and prioritize help desk tickets requiring resolution
    • Partner with multiple departments to complete user access and user termination requests

    REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a focus in Information Technology or Supply Chain Management desired
    • 1 year experience with a Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan Associates preferred)
    • Previous support experience with SAP desirable
    • Significant experience supporting technology solutions for end users
    • Highly motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and operate independently with minimal direction
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Positive attitude persistent, action-oriented, and a strong sense of accountability
    • Strong experience with relational databases and how to write SQL queries
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, project team and other departments within the organization
    • Good verbal and written skills to communicate with associates and all levels of management
    • Interfaces with management and supervision to ensure proper adoption and utilization of technology solutions
    • Work effectively within a team environment
    • Self-motivated and able to manage by exception
    • Resolve conflicts/discrepancies positively and professionally
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team setting.
    • Good understanding of warehousing and physical distribution concepts.
    • Ability to work long hours and weekends as dictated by business needs
    • Broad cross-functional experience in Distribution Center environments
    • Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes within a Distribution Center environment using RF, Put To Light & Voice Pick technologies.

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Monday - Thursday, 5 pm - 3 am
    • Typical DC work environment – 100%
    • Travel ~5%/year
    • Ability to walk and stand while observing for extended periods
