Senior Systems Engineer

Senior Systems Engineer candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
- Execute system engineering best practices for off-highway integrated transporter and trailer.
- Define and maintain product-level feature specifications, system layout, and documentation.
- Understand intended product end-user needs.
- Translate stakeholder needs to product requirements.
- Define system-level features and decompose those requirements into individual subsystem definitions and requirements.
- Work across multiple engineering disciplines and development teams to coordinate system definition, design, test, and integration.
- Ensure system and components perform as required via product verification and validation.
- Ensure the product aligns with applicable standards.
- Generate and evaluate alternative solution concepts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.
- May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
- Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.

Senior Systems Engineer candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experienced engineer with 5 years of career experience, with bachelor's degree. 3 years' experience with master's degree. Or experience in lieu of education.
• Engineering fields applicable to this position: Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Standard systems engineering methodologies, techniques, and related practices:
• Familiarity with at least one current requirements management tool.
• Ability to speak effectively, write efficiently, and think creatively.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and is self-motivated
• Ability to see interrelationships rather than things, patterns rather than snapshots.
• Travel may be necessary, based on position.
