Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.   • Furst-McNess Company is seeking an outgoing individual with employee recruitment and retention experience for the role of Talent Management Specialist. This role will manage the full recruiting lifecycle and assist with managing the talent within Furst-McNess Company. This individual will work closely with location leaders and hiring managers to post job openings for new and existing positions, recruit new talent, and assist with coordinating of onboarding employees. This individual will perform these functions remotely and at times at various locations and will include establishing relationships with technical schools and colleges and attending job fairs, conferences, and expos

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work closely with hiring managers to better understand the hiring needs of the company across various locations.
    • Foster and build relationships with potential candidates and effectively use the database to fill in existing roles.
    • Write and post job descriptions, and frequently engage with prospective candidates on various hiring and social media portals.
    • Screen incoming resumes from potential candidates and maintain the application forms and database through the entire span of the hiring process.
    • Collaborate with senior management and hiring managers to identify future hiring needs.
    • Conduct exit interviews with outgoing employees to determine why they are leaving the company and what can be done to retain them in the future.
    • Recruit new employees through networking with candidates to identify potential hires who meet company requirements.
    • Assist in reviewing employee performance to ensure that it meets organizational standards or goals.
    • Responsible for sourcing of candidates utilizing proactive recruiting initiatives and processes to leverage networking and employee candidate referrals inclusive of candidate identification, interviewing, and final selection recommendations.
    • Provide regular (weekly or other determined timing) updates to Vice President of Human Resources on team-related experienced hire candidate sourcing.
    • Active utilization of all recruiting tools for identification of candidates inclusive of personal networking, technology-based sourcing social media options.
    • Primary liaison between candidates and firm beginning with original sourcing through to the on-boarding process.
    • May assist with the preparation/delivery of Human Resource-related training for New Hire Orientation purposes.
    • Perform tasks in support of Talent Management in accordance with standard operating procedures.
    • Manage campus relations and act as key liaison with primary accounting faculty and administrators via recruiting-related activities within College Ambassador Program
    • Effectively track and report on hiring process.
    • Perform other work-related tasks as requested or required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Be able to succeed within and adhere to the culture of the Furst-McNess Company.
    • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
    • Ability to read, write and speak English.
    • Previous work experience as an HR recruiter or a similar role in HR talent acquisition.
    • Outstanding oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
    • Knowledge of productivity software, database management and internet search methods.
    • Experience working with computer systems for HR and navigating job boards.
    • Education is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resource management, human resource hiring or related field.
    • Experience in HR recruiter hiring and developing recruitment strategies.
    • The drive to grow professionally through networking and training opportunities.
    • Use your insight into the company to accurately report to management about employee performance.
    • Ability to effectively organize work schedules and manage multiple assignments by utilizing time management skills to ensure day-to-day assignments and special projects are completed within guidelines agreed upon.
    • Ability to work as an effective team member within the Human Resources department and company, as a whole. Willingness to pitch in and do work that may not be a specific part of the job description for the overall good of the department and Company.
    • Ability to travel, either by car or by commercial plane, including overnight stays, as business dictates. Must, at all times, possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record (within guidelines set forth in company vehicle policy).
