Talent Management Specialist develops, implements, and administers programs that evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance. Conducts assessment activities to evaluate and identify the current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required to achieve desired organizational results and prepare for future needs. Being a Talent Management Specialist designs performance management strategies and processes that measure outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and align teams to organizational goals. Identifies the types of training and development and resources needed to achieve workforce performance improvements. Additionally, Talent Management Specialist encourages a culture of objective setting and result measurement aligned to pay and rewards using tools, training, and communication. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Talent Management Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Description

    Do you have a passion for talent management and a knack for driving business results? If so, you might be the Senior Talent Management Specialist we are looking for. You will join our amazing tech company and lead the way in creating and executing talent management solutions that align with our business goals. You will also be part of the exciting journey of digitally transforming and enhancing our talent management practices.

    To succeed in this role, you need to have a solid background in workforce planning, performance management, promotions, and internal mobility. You also need to have skills in designing and implementing performance management systems, improving internal mobility and succession planning processes, and handling change management during system rollouts. You also need to have a strong personality to influence and persuade stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement workforce planning, performance management, promotions, and internal mobility strategies.
    • Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of talent management processes.
    • Collaborate with leadership teams to identify and address talent management needs.
    • Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to improve talent management practices.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to our talent management and HRBP teams.
    • Implement a new end-to-end performance management system, including training and change management.
    • Drive behaviors and metrics for performance management.
    • Understand analytics and dashboards.
    • Conduct surveys within the business to gather feedback.
    • Take stakeholders on the journey.

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, or a related field (Honours or Masters degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in talent management, with proven experience working on workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management
    • Registration with HPCSA as an Organisational Psychologist is a plus.
    • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and people skills
